BenQ starts in his new E55 Taiwan 3G mobile phone. In the E55 BenQ is clamshell with 2-inch TFT LCD main display, 1-inch external CSTN LCD display, 2 Megapixel camera, secondary 0.3 megapixel camera for video connections.
In the E55 is able to play MPEG4 / 3GP / H.263 video and MP3 / AAC / AAC + audio formats. It supports Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, and has a built-in 45MB memory. There is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
