Apple Releases New MacBook and MacBook Pro

Apple has updated its MacBook notebook family with the release of the new 13-inch MacBook and the new 15-inch MacBook Pro. Priced at 1,200 U.S. dollars and above, these new notebooks feature advanced all the metal housings, which makes it sustainable, pro-performance notebooks, graphics, clear and instant-on LED-backlit, glass displays and Multi-Touch trackpad. Apple also claims that these new notebooks are their green notebooks that meets Energy Star 4.0, EPEAT Gold, RoHS and environmental standards. Apple's new MacBook and MacBook Pro is powered by NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory, built-in iSight camera, Mini, and DisplayPort. Other features include slot loading 8x SuperDrive (DVD ± R DL / DVD ± RW / CD-RW), A 160GB or 250GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive up to 4 GB of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM, a 2.0GHz or 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 3MB on-chip shared L2 cache running 1:1 with processor speed (1066MHz front side bus).
