The ViewSonic ViewPad E100 houses a 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display with a native resolution of 1024 x 768p. Put it side-by-side with the iPad and you would not see much of a difference between the two. ViewPad E100 will run the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS that is well complemented by the 1 GHz Cortex processor and very responsive capacitive touchscreen display that offers a very smooth experience with the Android OS.
On the connectivity side, users will not fall short of options as the new ViewSonic ViewPad E100 will have a lot of ports that the iPad 2 lacks. The ViewPad E100 has a USB port for transferring files easily to any PC or transfer latest music and movie downloads using your flash drives. It also features a proper HDMI port that offers a more convenient connection as opposed to the one with the iPad 2. In addition, the device will also have a microSD slot to allow the user to expand the internal storage of the device. Apart from the Wi-Fi connectivity of the ViewPad E100, it will also support 3G networks and two variants will be available, one with 3G and the other with Wi-Fi only.
