Camera launcher app for Google Nexus 7 released on Play Store

nexus_7_3
For a $199.99 tablet, Google and Asus have packed the Nexus 7 with a chock-full of features that you wouldn’t normally expect to see at such price point, especially on a device that’s released by major brands. One of the things that is lacking on the tablet, which shouldn’t be missed too much by many, is a camera on the back, though the Nexus 7 does come with a front camera for video chatting.
The lucky few who got their hands on a Nexus 7 before its official outing, however, found out that the tablet doesn’t come with a camera launcher. Luckily, MoDaCo’s Paul O’Brien has come to the rescue by releasing a camera launcher app for the Nexus 7, which allows users to use the camera, as well as video camera applications.

The app is available as a free download on the Google Play Store. So, while your unit of Google Nexus 7 may not come until a little bit later in July, you may want to bookmark the Play Store entry, so you can get right on snapping pictures and recording videos as soon as you get your hands on the Nexus 7. It’ll be a simple APK file to download and install, and it does not require any rooting or special permissions.
So, have you ordered the Google Nexus 7 yet? Looking forward to test out some cool THD games on it?
