Samsung unveils wireless audio dock for Galaxy S handsets and iPhones

Samsung unveiled yesterday a new Audio with Dock accessory that can be used with its own Galaxy Android smartphones but also with iOS devices. In fact, the DA-E750 is a “premium wireless Audio with Dock” product and the “world’s first dual-docking system” that supports both Android and iOS devices.
What’s more interesting about the duly named DA-E750 is the fact that it also supports wireless connectivity. Therefore your smartphone doesn’t have to be physically docked in the DA-E750 for you to enjoy your favorite tracks stored on in. The DA-E750 comes with support for AllShare for certain Samsung Galaxy devices and AirPlay for Apple devices. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 3.0, analog input and an USB port.

In addition to wireless capabilities, the DA-E750 also comes with a new interesting sound technology, Samsung’s new vacuum tube amplifier:
Allowing audio enthusiasts to enjoy music the way it was meant to be heard, Samsung’s new vacuum tube amplifier technology provides a warmer and more natural sound compared to conventional audio systems that use transistors. Also, by combining the vacuum tube with a digital amplifier, the DA-E750 reduces unnecessary, harsh sound distortions—while its 2.1-channel woven glass fiber speakers and powerful built-in subwoofer produce 100 watts of crystal-clear sound with enhanced bass for a quality music experience.
In case it matters, the DA-E750 supports MP3, WMA and WAV file formats, and it will be launched in Korea and the UK on Monday, June 18. Pricing details are still missing at this time, although we expect this Audio with Dock product to retail for somewhere around $800.
