Sony Xperia S Android 4.0.4 ICS Update Now Available For Download

The wait is over for Sony Xperia S owners as the official Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware has been made available for download. Xperia S is actually Sony’s flagship for 2012 and while everybody was excited  about the new features, their excitement immediately burned down after knowing that it will not come with ICS pre-installed, instead Android 2.3 Gingerbread was operating system upon release. Fortunately, the Japanese company promised that an update to ICS would be rolled out shortly after release and being true to its word, Android 4.0.4 ICS for Sony Xperia S is now ready for installation.

The ICS update brings a lot of improvements and features to Sony Xperia S. While we know the company is trying to capture a new market, it is still integrating some of the things we have seen before such as better audio quality as well as good photo captures.
