It is powered by a 1.2 GHz OMAP 4430 processor which allows the tablet to offer superior performance. It also runs the latest Android 4.0 ICS. Though the Excite 10 LE has a razor-thin design, it is very durable with its magnesium alloy surfacing. It houses a 10.1 inch LED backlit display screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800p and 16:10 aspect ratio. In addition, Toshiba has come up with 10 finger multitouch design that makes it easy to navigate and control the device. The screen is also protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass that makes it resistant to scratches. Battery life for the device is around 8.5 hours. It also capable of providing its users with impressive gaming experience due to its GeForce GPU and offers a 16, 32, and 64 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB via its microSD slot. Pad 300 also supports LTE network which is an advantage to the device. The entry device with 16GB has a very reasonable price of $390 for the smartphone and the tab with the option to add the keyboard dock for $150. The battery also significantly increases due to the battery in both the phone and the tablet that can reach up to 15 hours.
5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)
The second generation device of Samsung’s Galax Tab 10.1 has already been released and it offers a thinner, faster, longer-lasting, and packed with more features than its predecessor. However, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 shares similar specifications with the Galaxy tab. It offers a 10 inch PLS display with a resolution of 1280x800p, dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of installed RAM and a minimum internal storage of 16 GB. What makes it interesting is that Samsung has reduced the price to $400 making it a hundred dollar cheaper than the New iPad. The Galaxy Tab 2 weighs only 1.25 pounds and 0.33 inch thick, which makes it fall just below the Toshiba Excite 10 LE. Samsung also chose to have a silver matte finish on the back of the Galaxy Tab 2. The device runs the latest Android 4.0 ICS and an overlay of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. Battery life is similar with other tabs at 8.5 hours.
6. Pantech Element
The key features of the Pantech Element is that is 4G LTE enabled and it is designed to waterproof to a certain degree but it doesn’t fall short in performance as well. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060 chipset and complemented with a 1GB RAM. The Pantech Element houses an 8 inch TFT XGA screen display with a resolution of 1024x768p, and an average 6,400 mAh battery. It also runs Android Honeycomb but have will have an ICS update soon. The device has 16GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 32GB with its microSD slot. Its battery life is also impressive, providing 9 hours of mobility to its users. The Pantech Element can be bought outright for $450 or $250 with a two-year contract with AT&T.
7. Asus Padfone
The Asus Padfone shares a similar concept with the Transformer series. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 8260A Cortex A15 and 1GB of RAM allows the device to run smoothly both on the phone and the tablet mode. The tablet houses a 10.1 inch WXGA screen with 1280x800p resolution which generates decent image quality almost similar with the Transformer series. A disadvantage of the device is that when it is docked on the Padfone Station it weighs around 853 grams and even worse, when connected to the Station Dock the entire device will have a total weight of 1.5 kg which not that appealing for a mobile device. The Padfone runs the latest Android 4.0 ICS and has an internal storage of 16GB for the entry model and 32GB for the higher end device. Battery life of the ASUS Padfone is very impressive, reaching up to 63 hours with the phone and the tablet that can be further increased to 102 hours with the keyboard dock. Mobility will never be an issue with this device and thus it will be a good companion for those who are always on the go.
8. Lenovo IdeaPad S2
Not much is known about this tablet since has only been released in China as of now. However, reports indicate that this device will hit the US market some time this month or early June. The Lenovo IdeaPad S2 is tablet that can be connected to a keyboard dock that will increase the productivity of its users. The 10.1 inch IPS display of the device has a resolution of 1280x800p and it is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S2 MSM8960 processor. The device will also run the latest Android 4.0 ICS and will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models. The battery life is also impressive which can reach up to hours with the tab and up to 20 hours when connected with the keyboard dock. There is still no announcement regarding the price of this device, and we are expecting it to fall under $400.
9. Sony Tablet P
If you have been able to come across with the Sony Tablet S then the Sony tablet won’t be such a surprise since both are technically the same. This device runs the Android 3.2.1 Honeycomb out of the box, which can be updated to ICS via OTA update. What makes this device unique is that it features two 5.5 inch TruBlack LCD display screen that is very appealing. The Tablet P has a sturdy build and has a smaller footprint than its competitors when it is closed. This device will grab the attention of gamers since it is capable of running some of PlayStation’s older PS One games such as Crash Bandicoot and others. It is also powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor with 1 GB of installed RAM. Internal storage is also quite limited with only 2GB and can be expanded up to 32 GB via its microSD slot. This unique device has 7 hours of battery life and costs $549.99, which is a bit pricey for a tablet.
10. Archos 101 G9 Turbo
The upgraded version of the Archos 101 G9, the Archos 101 G9 Turbo offers a more powerful chipset and runs the latest Android 4.0 ICS. The G9 Turbo is powered by a 1.5 GHz OMAP4 smart multi-core processor, though it is not that impressive as compared to other processors of other high-end tablets. Archos also offers a larger storage space with its 250 GB variant but sacrificing an increase in weight as compared to its 8GB SSD variant. G9 Turbo also features a kickstand which is convenient when watching movies. The device lacks a rear-end camera and does not support 3G network which is quite a disadvantage, its price is also quite underwhelming considering a few design glitches and lags that are experienced with the device. It is priced at $389 and one might consider a cheaper Samsung tab that can perform relatively better. However, we put this on the 10th place due to its expanded storage space and its neat kickstand.

It will also run the latest Android ICS out of the box.
13. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is the big bro of the renowned Samsung Galaxy Note. It will have a 10.1 inch screen and will include an S-pen which will allow the users to draw, write, and interact with the device. It will be powered with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor which will open many possibilities in terms of the applications that can be used with the device.
