Lenovo IdeaPad A1 Gingerbread Tablet
Just like other sub-$200 tablets though, the IdeaPad A1 does not come with the latest version of Android. Out of the box, the new Lenovo tablet runs on Android 2.3. Other features of the tablet include a single-core Cortex A8 1GHz processor, two cameras and up to 32GB of memory. The 7 inch screen comes with a 1024×600 resolution.
The bad news for American residents though is that the 8GB model of the IdeaPad A1 will not be hitting U.S. shores. They will be getting the 16GB and the 32GB models instead for the more expensive price points of $249 and $299 respectively. In addition to the Android Market, Lenovo tablets can also access the Lenovo App Shop where users can get Lenovo-exclusive apps. During the launch, Lenovo announced that their App Shop will have around 200 apps available for download.
