Samsung Series 7 All-In-One (AOP) PC For 2012 Revealed

Samsung Series 7

If there is one company that couldn’t be satisfied despite the success of its devices, that would be Samsung. The more its devices become popular, the more inspired the company becomes in releasing new gadgets to feed the need of its fans. That’s the reason why the company has to redefine one of the devices it has released last year–the Samsung Series 7 All-In-One (AIO) PC. We know for a fact that the original Samsung Seris 7 AIO PC which was released in 2011 did perform well and even received tons of positive feedbacks from both Samsung fans and tech enthusiasts evident that the manufacturer can easily capture the market with its new and powerful devices. Our problem for now is that Samsung is still mum about the specs of the redefined Series 7 AIO so we are left speculating as early as now. But nonetheless, we have a reference and we know were to start. The best thing to do for us to have an idea what Samsung has in store for us, we will try to go over the specs of the first version and speculate. After all, that’s the best we can do while waiting for the official list of specs from the manufacturer.

Let’s start with the processor; the original version had Intel’s Core i5 clocked at 2.7 GHz. The first few models of i5 including 2390T which the original Series 7 used only have 2 cores however, newer models now sport 4 cores clocked at a lower frequency. If Samsung will still use i5 CPU, there are options to choose the quad-core models or the dual-core models clocked at a high frequency of up to 3.4GHz.
Last year, we have seen how extravagant Samsung was when the company provided Series 7 8GB of RAM. This year, I believe it will still be 8GB as it is actually too much for a PC with this caliber. But we can expect that this time around the manufacturer will boast about Windows 8 being the bundled OS for its new device. It is also given that this year’s version of Series 7 will still be having the full HD display at 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and since LCD was used last year, we might be so lucky to get Super AMOLED technology.
Being an all-in-one PC means that owners should find comfort while using it. This year, we might be getting a display larger than 23 inches to provide even more comfort as far as multimedia playback is concerned. All-in-one means that it is going to be an ultimate entertainment hub for the how family while being very useful for any other computer-related works.
Redefining an already popular device means making the first version even better. In the world of computers, better is almost tantamount to being faster or high specs. Thus, we can almost conclude that this year’s Samsung Series 7 All-In-One PC will be a generous upgrade of the original variant. Otherwise, there is no use in announcing the new series and being silent when it comes to specs.
