Android App – Awayfind Review – Features, Ease of Use

Ever feel like you require a personal assistant to manage your emails? If your reply is in the affirmative, you are not the only one. Since our personal and work life is amalgamated on the internet, it is hard to decide which email is urgent and which one isn’t. Especially since we have become very busy, we cannot be expected to check our emails every hour in order not to miss important information. Awayfind is an android app, released on July 27th 2011, which can solve your constant email checking issues. This app manages your email address and informs you when an email is received from selected senders. The best part is that the app manages one email account absolutely free.

Features:

To make setting up the app even simpler, you can manage your account online and then sign in through your app to sync the information. Once the app has transferred all data from your email address, you are required to flag the email addresses whose messages you need to read urgently. Besides the notification for new email, this app also sends out automated messages to the sender with your contact information in case you are away. Another special and extremely useful feature is that you can design a form which will be filled by the sender. This way you can get the information you required and can judge whether responding or doing that certain work is urgent or not.

Ease of use:

Awayfind has a simple interface and is generally an easy to use app. The customer care service is excellent and the developers respond to concerns quickly and solve all your problems. The email notifications appear on top of your phone screen. Each option available in the app has a small description underneath it to make it easier for you to operate the app. This app makes the entire process of sorting hundreds of emails very efficient and easy.

Verdict:

This android app is slowly becoming a necessity due to the barrage of emails, both important and junk, that we are receiving every day. It’s a must for people who often take business trips or are generally not on their desk all day. It’s the most efficient way to always be in control of your inbox without having to check your email address every few minutes.
The only drawbacks are that the free account only gives you access to one email address and requires androids 2.0 and above. Otherwise, this app will surely increase your productivity since you can do away with checking emails constantly.
