Android Market receives an important update – Design changes and now offers movies and books (Video and Download)

Google launched a very important update for the Android Market service. As a result, the Android Market begins to match its rival, Apple App Store, at least in terms of design. What is more, the new Market brings new opportunities as you will be able to buy books and rent movies. New apps and games can be found in new interesting ways. All Android devices with the 2.2 or later versions of the OS can access the new Android Market, and U.S. users will rent thousands of movies from the $ 1.99 price. In addition, you should be happy to find out that the Videos section of the store applications allow you to rent movies anywhere, whether it’s an Android phone, a tablet or a PC and a browser you use to navigate the Market.

An advantage over other movie download services is that the movie that you download on the terminal can be watched anytime, even if you do not have an Internet connection. Pretty cool, isn’t it? Both the purchased books as well as the films are related to your Google account and are available on all the users’ terminals so there is no need for transfers or new downloads. You don’t have to wait for downloads, sync or worry about storage space as these things belong to the past.
As stated above, there have also been some changes for the better made in the design department. Regarding the design modifications, the Android Market is now more accessible, faster and provides more space for the most interesting downloads of the week. There are also new additions and sections that allow content to be quickly discovered. There are now recommended applications, Staff Picks and Editor’s Choice and the main section of the store application vaguely resembles the Windows Phone environment as far as design goes.
