Features

The Motorola Triumph comes shipped with pre-installed Android version 2.2. The good news is, for those who don’t like customized menus and interfaces; the Triumph makes sure you get the naked Android experience, which according to our tests results in more desirable screen transitions and performance. The inclusion of the default Android interface also hints that the phone may be easy to upgrade to the latest version of Android. With the Triumph, carrier Virgin Mobile has included some additional features just for the phone to make it more interesting. You will now be able to use the TouchPal and TalkBack keyboards alongside your stock soft keyboard from Android. TochPal is basically a keyboard that features much bigger keys, so anyone who is sensitive to smaller keys can relax here. The TalkBack keyboard on the other hand, is a keyboard that talks any text written on your screen. Alongside all default Android apps, you will also find customized apps such as my account, Scvngr, AirG chat, Facebook and twidroyd.

Verdict

While there are tons of Android mobile phones out in the market which are far superior then this phone, you still won’t find a phone that is as good as this on a prepaid package. This phone is definitely the best one from Virgin Mobile yet on their prepaid phone roster. Anyone looking for a great screen and performance will not be disappointed with this one.

Price:

The Motorola Triumph is available for $299.99 from Virgin Mobile. This phone is without any contracts, so you need to worry about monthly payments.
