LG Optimus Black – Possibility of running Windows Phone 7?

After seeing what appears to be a Galaxy S II running Windows Phone 7, nothing surprises us… even the image of a terminal that resembles very much the LG Optimus Black and running the same Microsoft OS. I’m not sure what to make of it. Has someone managed to port the Microsoft OS on the Optimus Black?
This recent series of photographs that have recently surfaced on the web is either a future LG terminal with Windows Phone 7 or the LG Optimus Black using a custom launcher and a theme that makes it look like the Windows Phone. If we are talking about a port, we must keep in mind the fact that the LG Optimus Black uses a TI OMAP chip, while Windows Phone 7 is designed in such a manner as to only run on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. In order for this handicap to be overcome, a lot of hard work is required from the developer and I do not think this subject deserves so much effort. As a result, I think it’s safe to rule out this option. So what are we left with?
There is another possibility though. Given the recent images that have appeared with new Samsung, ZTE, Fujitsu and Acer models running Windows Phone Mango, it is possible that this “Optimus Black” is another piece that completes the puzzle of Windows Phone terminal leaks. It will be a very interesting autumn, once the Mango OS is launched and with it and the first terminals. The Optimus Black exterior is excellent so another version of it would be awesome! All in all, I believe that the terminal present in the images is just one of the upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices that will be released this fall. We will soon find out, won’t we?
