New Android phones from ZTE – Ready to launch in Europe!

It looks like ZTE are launching full attacks on all fronts! Yesterday we found out that they are preparing a phone with two important characteristics. Firstly, it is provided with WP7 onboard and it boasts an affordable price. Today we discover that two new Android models from the same company are geared up for an imminent launch. We are glad to find out that ZTE remains a manufacturer that’s mainly committed to Android. Are you eager to know their names? Called Tureis and Libra, both ZTE smartphones are running the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. What is more, both phones will sport low prices.

If the name ZTE doesn’t sound familiar to you, you should know that the Chinese company has already sold millions of Android handsets and intends to break its own records. Let’s return to the new terminals though and take a closer look at their hardware specs. The ZTE Libra comes with a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen, HSDPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a 3.2 megapixel camera. Regarding the performance, the Libra a 600 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM. ZTE Tureis is also a model with touch screen, benefiting from a 2.6-inch diagonal and QVGA resolution. Compared to its cousin, it is slightly more powerful. In addition, the phone incorporates a QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA support, Wi-Fi, GPS and comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera and a processor clocked at 800MHz.
So probably now you want to hear some info about a release date. You should be happy to find out that both phones will soon debut in Britain, followed by a release in international markets. ZTE made another statement. They said that the ZTE Skate would be offered unlocked in the UK starting from next month. Orange is selling and re-branded the Skate as Orange Monte Carlo.
