How To Install Galaxy S3′s S-Voice To Any Android Device

S-Voice is one of the exclusive features of Samsung Galaxy S3 which is yet to be released by the end of this month. However, the brilliant minds of some Android developers who are always on the lookout for new things to be added to the already feature-packed platform made it possible to port S-Voice to any devices running on Android mobile platform, or at least that’s what I can say until other Android users report it’s not running on their device. Basically, this app hasn’t been released (yet) by Samsung for use to other Android device, some developers was able to extract it from the official Galaxy S3 ROM that was leaked a few weeks ago. And if you are wondering how to go about this, you just need to install S-Voice APK file. If you’re ready, proceed with the procedure below.

How To Install S-Voice

Step 1: Since you will be installing the APK straight to your device, you need to download it first from here. Just so you know, this package is about 26.7MB in size, so depending on your connection the downloading process may take a little while to finish. Save the package to any directory in your computer which you can and have access.
Step 2: Extract the package to be able to get the “Voicetalk.apk” that you need to install the app to your Android.
Step 3: Connect your device to your computer and wait until it’s properly detected by your system and that all drivers are installed.
Step 4: Copy “Voicetalk.apk” to your phone’s SD card. Once done copying, you are free to disconnect it.
Step 5: Navigate through your Android phone’s SD card and locate Voicetalk.apk and just tap it to open and install. Follow on-screen instructions to proceed.
Step 6: Once the installation is done, you will then be prompted to “Accept” the terms of service. Of course, if you badly need to use this app, then you just have to accept it.
Step 7: After accept the terms of service, you will be brought to a quick guide which you can simply skip or go through. Most of us don’t really need it, however, if you want to learn a bit more about S-Voice, then it would be very useful.
Step 8: Once you’re done all of these, you are free to launch the S-Voice app and use it to your satisfaction.
Currently, there is no official version of this app and you couldn’t find it from Google Play Store. So, you will really need to download and copy S-Voice APK here to be able to use it. Perhaps it would take a few months after the release of Samsung Galaxy S3 that we will be able to see this app officially launched on Google Play Store. But until then make use of this tutorial to enjoy it.
Anyway, it works on any kind of Android device. However, some users have shared that they couldn’t install it on their device because of a parse error. Others couldn’t also complete the installation due to system crashes and automatic reboot. But I would just want to reiterate that the people who are actually extracted this app are still working on it to eliminate the bugs or the common issues users may encounter. Most of the people who can encounter problems with this unofficial S-Voice app are the Gingerbread owners. Basically, it was designed and intended for Ice Cream Sandwich. I have tried this on my devices and out of three, only one works. If you tried this on your device and want to share your experience, please feel free to leave some comments below.
