Rumors, speculation and excited media flurry has surrounded the possible launch dates of the iPhone 5, which may very well come to light within a few weeks. On the 12
th of August, Friday a possible launch date of September 7
th appeared on the media: only to be quickly debunked. Rumors have also been on the rise that the launch date may very well be in October. The frenzy and excitement is growing and is expected to grow when and until the official release dates are announced.
TiPb has recently weighed in and claimed that the next-generation iPhone of Apple could very well debut in October, on Friday the 7
th in the USA, although TiPb is yet to say where it got this information from. This report from TiPb has also suggested that the iPhone in question is most likely not to be an iPhone 5 but be more of an iPhone “4S”: basing itself on the previous iPhone 4 rather than be a completely new revamped next-generation iPhone 5. TiBp however has acknowledged that there is considerable debate and confusion over the matter: Apple could very well be in preparation to come out with both models almost simultaneously. It said that Apple’s next iPhone, whether it be an “iPhone 4S” or a new and original revamped “iPhone 5” has the possibility of going on sale on the October 7
th in the USA. Which would make it a Friday: a phenomenon not uncommon in the launches of iPhone’s?
The report’s source states that Apple will not be launching a next-generation iPad this year, and will most probably be releasing the iPad next year, in 2012. TiPb interestingly has not usually been the source for gadget rumors in its history and does clandestinely express a considerable amount of skepticism pertaining to its own publishing.
