LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net officially announced in Italy!

After LG Optimus Pro was leaked on the web the other day by mistake, here’s another surprise as the smartphone together with another new LG model, Optimus Net, were confirmed today in Italy. LG Optimus Pro is a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, which reminds us of a BlackBerry phone, while the LG Optimus Net is the successor of the Optimus One. As a result, it is equipped with a full touch screen. Let’s take a closer look at these brand new phones announced today!

LG Optimus Net focuses on the social aspect and comes with an elegant design, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and a Qualcomm processor clocked at 800MHz. Its 3.2 inch screen is a capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. The phone measures 12.1 mm in thickness and weighs 122 grams. Regarding connectivity, the successor of the Optimus One supports HSDPA (3.6 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, quad band GSM and dual band UMTS. The battery provides up to 4 hours of talk time and the terminal comes with a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, video capture at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and 24 fps. Overall, it is a sleek phone that’s built to impress.
Now let’s focus our attention to LG’s second smartphone, Optimus Pro. LG Optimus Pro is a combo made up of a touchscreen  and a QWERTY keyboard. The QVGA touch screen measures 2.8 inches while the keyboard features 4 rows of buttons, perfect for those of you eager to socialize. The Android phone is running the Android 2.3.3 OS and is using an 800 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM. Optimus Pro supports HSDPA, Wi-Fi, quad band GSM and weighs 129 grams. The terminal measures 12.9 mm in thickness and comes with a 3 megapixel camera with video capture support at the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.
LG Optimus Net will arrive on the market this month at a price of 200 Euros while the Optimus Pro is priced at 180 Euros.
