Which tablets are worth looking out for in second half of 2011?

We are talking about one of the fastest growing niches. You know the big winner: Apple’s iPad. Maybe the tablets that are waiting to be launched in the second half will enjoy a greater success. Looking at their top hardware specifications, you should be happy to find out that some of them are worth every bit of your attention. We expect Google to launch a major update to its mobile operating system to match the simplicity of Apple and its IOS applications.

Sony S1 and S2 are representing Sony’s entrance into this segment and certainly the Japanese have pretty big plans. They chose to come with a unique concept with Sony S2 – one of the most compact tablets with two screens, and took a more classic approach (Tegra 2 and Honeycomb) with their S1 tablet. Asus Transformer is selling well but they always had problems related to stocks. We hope that they will be able to regulate their production flow. The keyboard that provides additional autonomy and transforms the tablet into a notebook enjoyed much appreciation everywhere. The Asus Eee Pad Slider is a sequel and this time you will have the built-in keyboard available to all.
Well, I would say Huawei is a pleasant surprise and hope that their MediaPad tablet will reach the US and Europe. This is the first tablet in the world with a 7 inch screen and Android 3.2 Honeycomb. I do not know why, but I suspect that the price will be excellent compared to its performance. It is a tablet with that weighs only 395 grams!
Samsung was the only company in 2010 which actually made a difference and scored with the Galaxy Tab tablets. The South Korean’s ambitions are big and in 2011, they came with two tablets: Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9. The numbers represent the screen’s diagonal size as most of us would be familiar with that. Would there be another success story?
