It’s fun to know already about a possible American operator for the so-called Galaxy S II Pro when even the Galaxy S II smartphone hasn’t arrived in the U.S. yet. Well, the terminal that recently made its appearance on the web could be the QWERTY version of the handset which has already
sold 6 million international units…
Regarding the operator, it is the famous AT&T, who catapulted iPhone to popularity. On the other hand, if this proves not to be the Galaxy S II Pro terminal, then we are dealing with an Android QWERTY slider from Samsung, with a keyboard reminiscent of the design of the Epic 4G model. The keyboard comes with four rows of buttons, different from those found on the Epic 4G, which also had a row number. It is worth noting the presence of the four specific capacitive buttons of Android placed below the screen, a feature only found in the American version of Galaxy S, which doesn’t adopt the international design with three buttons – one being the physical Home button.
What is more, rumors say that this supposed Galaxy S II Pro will arrive on the market in the coming months with support for HSPA + connectivity, if not LTE. It would be bizarre to simultaneously on the market both this device and the Galaxy S II. What would the public choose in these conditions?
Update: It seems that the BGR sources confirmed the identity of this smartphone as an exclusive AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II. New images have also popped up. Also known as the SGH-I927 model, the terminal will run the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and it will retain a part of its thin waist, despite the keyboard’s presence. Stay tuned for more news and updates!
