Droid Incredible Gingerbread Update Delayed

Droid Gingerbread Update
Droid Gingerbread Update

Have you been wondering as to where the update to the Gingerbread OS for the Droid Incredible original is, because we have been hearing that it is “coming soon” for the past few days? The original hearing was that the Gingerbread update supposedly was to go up to 10,000 individuals on the 16th of August and another 50,000 on the 17th, and then to everyone else on the 18th. The update was the incorporation of the new Android 2.3.4 and the perks that are going to arrive with updating the Gingerbread operating system. It is going to come with some fixes that include the correct sending of MMS messages, the proper saving of audio files that come via MMS messages, the successful playing of audio that are received via MMS messages, incorporation of connection to the internet through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi operation of the VZ Navigator, the changing of song in music widget by just pressing forward button, and the functioning of the camera with the insertion of the SD card into slot. These updates were (and still are) going to be seen as a breath of fresh air by Droid Incredible users everywhere. The initial time frame was not really given by Verizon for the release of the updates, but the supporting documents were in place. Owners of the Dinc were checking each 13 seconds as to whether the update had arrived on the phone. Unfortunately something unexpected has happened.
Well it seems like that is going to be a little late. Verizon’s support forums have clarified that an said that even though they apologize for the delay, but that they need to go through more phases of testing before they can release it. Once they know that when the update is coming for sure, they are going to update us with more details.
