The ViewPad’s 480×800 resolution screen does anything but impress. The viewing angels are below par as colors completely fade at the slightest tilt. The brightness is average as well which is why viewing the tablet under the sun is a problem. The best view is achieved if the tablet is held straight and right in front of the face, which can be tiring and inconvenient. The jack for the headphones is placed below the tablet in landscape mode which essentially means that while watching movies or videos, the headphone plug will be directly underneath and hamper comfortable viewing. The front screen includes four buttons and the camera, along with a light sensor. The tablet has excellent quality speakers which are found on either side of the tablet for a stereo feel. The jack for headphones and the mic as well as the MiniUSB port are at the bottom of the tablet.Features:
The screen cannot be viewed in portrait mode and is only available in landscape mode. The screen houses three buttons which show at all times because the ViewPad 7 also serves as a phone. The buttons are menu, Web and dialer. The keypad is very large and covers more than half the screen. The battery works pretty well and lasts up to 6, 7 hours on high usage and even a couple of days on medium usage. The quality of calls is also pretty good and voice clarity scores high points for the ViewPad 7.
The ViewPad 7 still requires a lot of work. Just the cheap price is not enough to lure customers since much better options are available, even in the same price range.Verdict:
The price of the ViewPad 7 currently stands at $479.Price:
