Reinforcing the claims of a report of TiPb which very recently claimed that Apple was aiming for a 7th of October launch of the new upcoming fifth-generation iPhone, and it has now been reported that it too is getting similar reports. According to its source, pre-orders of the new iPhone are expected to begin on either the 29th or the 30th of September, and that the launch will most probably occur on either the 7th of October or the 14th.The report says that sources reveal that Apple is contemplating the launch of the iPhone 5 on either the 7th of October or the 14th, however with the device’s latest phases of pre-mass-production moving along pretty well, Apple is aiming for a launch of the new iPhone on October 7th.
They also further reported that the current plans of Apple include to initialize pre-orders for the new iPhone at the end of this coming September. The pre-order date frankly has not been decided as of yet by Apple, but it is hotly rumored that it is either going to be the 29th or the 30th of September. The higher probability is in favor of the 30th.
The report basically comes amidst relatively credible news that the lunch plans of Apples are constantly shifting dates and that anything could change anytime right now, it is however confident in it claims that these stated dates are indeed currently what Apple is aiming for. When pre-orders will come at the very closing of September, it will most definitely follow a media event introducing the iPhone 5 amongst possibly other devices such as newer models of iPods. Mainstream media however has been completely insistent that the iPhone will be launched in October. What complicates this is that the media event, pre-order dates and the availability of the product all can occur on completely different dates spanning a time-period of many weeks.
